In the reality of the towns of 1952, couples did not need more than a bed to get married; a bed that they had a local carpenter make and a mattress made with wool that they bought from a shepherd and put on top.

In that reality and in a small town in Toledo (Fuensalida) a young entrepreneur with his roots in the textile trade took a bus and went to Valencia to look for furniture factories; A few months later and with the results of this expedition, he set up a store so that these couples and of course the parents of these couples “who were the ones who paid” could see the bed before buying it.
